Turn the Louvre into a runway! The exhibition “LOUVRE COUTURE – Art and fashion: statement pieces” showcases over a hundred legendary fashion pieces, creating a timeless narrative of style.

Imagine the Louvre, this historic palace of art, transformed into a fashion show stage! Visitors can not only admire these exquisite works, but also feel the creativity and stories behind them, as if immersed in a dreamy fashion feast.

This is the first exhibition at the Louvre focusing on fashion, placing emphasis on the art of fashion and featuring haute couture as the centerpiece. It gathers selected designs from 45 renowned fashion brands, including CHANEL, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Schiaparelli, Givenchy, Prada, Versace, Dries Van Noten, Balenciaga, Undercover, Erdem, and Iris van Herpen, all of which showcase the splendor of different eras. These garments are not just the crystallization of exquisite craftsmanship; they are also symbols of culture and history, inviting exploration of the aesthetics and styles of various times.

What’s even more exciting is that the exhibition is meticulously curated by art curator Olivier Gabet, with the design led by master designer Nathalie Crinière. Having previously designed exhibitions for Dior, her unique perspective and creativity transform this nearly 9,000-square-meter space into a dreamlike realm where fashion and history intertwine, creating an immersive experience akin to stepping into a fashion film. Each piece tells a unique story and engages in a dialogue with the classic artworks within the Louvre, inviting everyone to experience the charm and depth of fashion together.
