It’s March again, the season of cherry blossoms! In line with this moment, the Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami collaboration is launching its second series, reinterpreting and reinventing the original designs.

LV invites brand ambassador Zendaya to interpret a collection filled with playfulness, trendy colors, and a festive atmosphere.

Louis Vuitton brings together Takashi Murakami’s whimsical and vibrant aesthetic in a brand-new reissue collection. These iconic designs embellish Louis Vuitton’s coveted classic women’s leather goods and accessories, including trendy handbags, silk scarves, wraps, sunglasses, fashionable jewelry, footwear, and fragrances. The second chapter of the campaign features imagery created by the renowned Dutch photographers Inez and Vinoodh, with Zendaya playfully interacting with vibrant flowers in a layered collage that floats above a softly lit cityscape, showcasing the exquisite and lively designs from the Louis Vuitton × Murakami art collaboration.

Following the enthusiastic response to the first chapter, the second chapter features Takashi Murakami’s cherry blossom pattern, showcasing vibrant pink smiling flowers and elegant petals through cutting-edge digital printing technology across more than 40 items, including bags, footwear, and perfumes. Launched in March, this latest chapter joyfully embraces the arrival of spring. Created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of a historic collaboration, the refreshed designs poetically celebrate the season of blooming cherry blossoms in Japan, intricately incorporating the masterful cherry blossom patterns by Japanese artist Takashi Murakami into over 40 Louis Vuitton creations.

The series revolves around Takashi Murakami’s cherry blossom pattern, utilizing innovative digital printing technology to feature the soft, pink smiling cherry blossom designs and elegant petals across various items, including classic brown Monogram canvas handbags such as the OnTheGo, Papillon, Boulogne, and Speedy 25. It embodies the brand’s travel artistry with the Rolling Trunk suitcase, Keepall 45 travel bag, and hard-shell luggage like the Courrier Lozine 110 Fleurs adorned with cherry blossom accents. Additionally, there are small leather goods such as the Nano Bucket and Zippy wallet. Furthermore, the Marellini, Alma BB, and three styles of Capucines handbags are dressed in an all-pink design, radiating a cheerful vibe that perfectly complements the cherry blossom motif.

The second wave of the collaboration series will be available for limited pre-sale on the Louis Vuitton official website starting March 14, and will be officially released in selected stores worldwide from March 21.
