Glasses, beyond their practicality, have become an indispensable fashion accessory. The Korean eyewear brand Gentle Monster, known for its conversation-starting pieces, has previously collaborated with Maison Margiela, Mugler, and Jennie to create popular co-branded items. Now, it challenges traditional eyewear aesthetics with the launch of its new 2025 Jewelry collection, which perfectly blends jewelry and eyewear design, redefining the possibilities of fashion accessories with a surreal perspective.
GENTLE MONSTER’s brand new 2025 JEWELRY collection disrupts traditional perceptions of eyewear with its unique aesthetic. The dazzling frames are inspired by pearl necklaces and come in a total of 5 styles. The GLITZ-02 and ON RING-02 styles feature oval frames made of silver metal, enhanced with exquisite gemstone details on the temples, adding a sparkling accent to elegance. The GALA-02 is adorned with pearls and gemstones on the temples and can also be worn as a necklace. The VEGAX-V4 boasts an oval frame made from purple acetate, further accentuated by jewelry details for a striking look. Lastly, the ORORA-02 is an oval silver metal frame, with three-dimensional gemstone decorations on the temples, showcasing the brand’s avant-garde style.
To mark the occasion, Gentle Monster has created a limited-time experiential space for its Jewelry collection in seven global cities: Seoul, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, New York, and Bangkok. Upon entering the space, one feels as if they have stepped into a giant jewelry box, where a surreal atmosphere blurs the lines between reality and dreams. A magical scepter stands in the center, surrounded by scattered jewels. The overall space reinterprets the pioneering aesthetics of the fusion of jewelry and products through a unique sensory experience.

The Jewelry series offers a spectacular and dreamy limited-time experiential space, attracting a host of fashion stars and celebrities. BLACKPINK member Jennie made an appearance at HAUS DOSAN in Seoul; the Aoyama store in Tokyo welcomed model Kōki Kimura to show her support, while the Bangkok flagship store hosted Thai actors Becky and Freen, all coming together to showcase the brand’s new jewelry eyewear collection, capturing global attention.
