When it comes to the hottest IP characters in recent years, one cannot overlook the manga series created by Japanese manga artist Nagano, Gigi Kawakubo, which has captured hearts globally with small and cute. This IP, formed by the combination of tiny and cute, has become one of the most popular characters since its serialization began in 2020, clinching the top spot at the Japan Character Award twice. Its unique Contrast cuteness—a charming art style paired with profound social commentary—offers viewers a chance to reflect on reality while providing comfort. Recently, CHIIKAWA made a surprise appearance in Hong Kong and is all set to showcase itself in the form of Hong Kong-style dim sum!
The large-scale exhibition CHIIKAWA DAYS, created through the first collaboration between Spiralcute International and AllRightsReserved (ARR), will shine at K11 MUSEA in Tsim Sha Tsui from August 1 to 24, offering a unique experience exclusive to Hong Kong.

The special exhibition focuses on Clothing, food, housing, and transportation. and spans three major paid areas (one indoor area and two outdoor areas), inviting visitors to step into the enchanting world of CHIIKAWA.
The exhibition hall The adorable daily life of Jiji Kawa. is located at the MUSE EDITION in K11, showcasing classic scenes including an internet cafe, Lang ramen shop, prison, and a three-star restaurant. The outdoor exhibition area The Enormous Food Wonderland Sky Park is situated on the 6th floor sculpture park of K11 MUSEA. Meanwhile, the outdoor party Large-scale Battle! A Collection of Iconic Scene Styles takes place at the underground promenade of K11 MUSEA, featuring giant inflatable sculptures and iconic scenes brought to life.
The most highly anticipated highlight is the limited edition series created by illustrator Nagano for the Hong Kong special exhibition Dim Sum. CHIIKAWA transforms into egg yolk mille-feuille, Xiao Ba becomes a hot dog roll, the bunny turns into siu mai, the flying squirrel morphs into pearl chicken, the wind lion god transforms into rice rolls, the chestnut bun magically becomes steamed beef siu mai, and Master Haichai becomes ma lai gao. Even Guben House turns into shrimp dumplings, showcasing a beautiful collision of cross-cultural creativity that is not only surprising but also perfectly blends classic elements from both places, leaving everyone in awe.
Global Exclusive Souvenirs First Sale

Starting from the exhibition launch on August 1, the venue will unveil a series of globally exclusive themed souvenirs. The highlight is the limited edition wooden sculptures, with only 500 sets available—each set includes three pieces: the adorable Jiyi Kawa, Xiao Ba, and Tu Tu, all numbered and priced at HKD $2,180. Additionally, the Dim Sum series of charm figurines standout at the exhibition, each priced at HKD $160, featuring eight delightful designs including egg yolk mille-feuille, sausage rolls, and siu mai.

In addition, there are lifestyle items such as a sparrow-themed set, rugs, picnic mats, and air-conditioned blankets, along with a variety of exquisite souvenirs like night lights, badges, and stainless steel cutlery sets, priced from HKD $30 to $1,280, catering to the diverse collection needs of fans. It’s worth noting that the ticket holder store will open to ticket holders from August 1, offering priority access to the special edition Dim Sum series charm figurines; the public store will open from August 4, but reservations are required for entry.
Tickets are divided into Special Edition Set (HKD $420) and general admission (ages 12 and above HKD $180; ages 4-11 HKD $150). Special Edition Set includes a set of nine character name tag keychains and an RFID-enabled glowing Purge Stick.
Last Saturday, July 5th, the launch celebration was packed with excitement. The atmosphere was electric, and within just 30 minutes of ticket sales, the first round of tickets was completely sold out. The event attracted not only fans from Hong Kong but also enthusiasts from the Mainland, Macau, Taiwan, and Japan. If you missed out, don’t worry! The second round of tickets will go on sale on July 9th at 11 AM, covering the visiting period from August 18th to 24th.
