LMO Freshly Baked, the grab-and-go light bites restaurant tucked away in The Landmark Atrium in Central, curated by Richard Ekkebus, the Culinary Director of The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, has been a hit since its opening. Recently, the restaurant launched an all-new The Tastemaker Series limited-time campaign, inviting five iconic figures from Hong Kong’s local F&B scene to celebrate the city’s culinary culture while giving back to the community. From May to September, LMO Freshly Baked will collaborate with a different partner each month to roll out exclusive grab-and-go dishes, delivering delightful surprises to the working crowd in Central.

Inspired by local classics and blended with casual light bites, LMO Freshly Baked made its debut in the Landmark Atrium in March 2025, following the immense success of its Basehall outlet. Quickly becoming a popular hotspot, the space is crafted by an award-winning hotel culinary team, celebrated for its exquisite artisanal baked goods, hearty sandwiches, and comforting soups. Carrying forward this philosophy, The Tastemaker Series was born. This collaboration brought together some of the most influential local restaurants and bars to create exclusive offerings for LMO Freshly Baked.

Chef Richard Ekkebus personally invited the following five partners for this series, including:
- Yardbird (May)
- Bar Leone (June)
- Dai Ban Lou (July)
- TATE Dining Room (August)
- Little Bao (September)
The monthly limited-edition dishes include sandwiches, soups, salads, or pastries, with each creation showcasing the brand’s meticulous attention to ingredients and detail.
The Tastemaker Series will kick off in May with a collaboration featuring the Michelin-starred restaurant Yardbird. This modern izakaya, founded by Matt Abergel and Lindsay Jang, has been renowned since its opening in 2011 for its signature Binchotan-grilled Sanhuang chicken skewers, establishing itself as a key player in the local casual dining scene.

Exclusively available from May 6 to May 31, Yardbird unveils three meticulously crafted light bites. These include Yardbird Caesar Salad (HKD 88) — Caesar salad topped with crispy whitebait and nori; Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich (HKD 88) — crispy fried chicken sandwich paired with shredded cabbage and sesame egg yolk sauce; and Three Yellow Chicken Meatball Soup (HKD 58) — Sanhuang chicken meatball soup featuring house-made meatballs simmered with scallions and myoga ginger, bursting with flavor!
