Cantina The Supper Club’s limited-edition menu returns, featuring a classic three-course Italian meal and two signature drinks for HKD $688.

The modern Italian restaurant Cantina, located in Tai Kwun, is bringing back its popular limited menu, The Supper Club, to the Hong Kong dining scene, offering an eight-week feast of Italian cuisine. This exclusive three-course culinary experience will delight diners with classic Italian dishes, available every Friday and Saturday night from 9 PM to 12 AM, along with two specially crafted cocktails or non-alcoholic drinks. Priced at just HKD $688 (for two), this is an event not to be missed, whether it’s for a romantic date or a gathering with friends.

The menu this time is meticulously designed by Cantina chef Matteo Caripoli, showcasing his unique insights and exquisite skills in Italian cuisine. Signature dishes include the chef’s innovative carbonara with Parmigiano-Reggiano ravioli, where handmade ravioli is filled with rich carbonara sauce and complemented by crispy Italian guanciale, offering a silky texture and rich layers—a fresh interpretation of the traditional classic Italian pasta.

The signature dish of The Supper Club — Meat Sauce Lasagna — is a heartfelt recollection from Chef Matteo’s childhood. He reminisces about the lasagna his mother lovingly prepared for him and has made bold innovations to this classic dish. Unlike traditional lasagna, the chef has creatively baked the pasta sheets in a single layer until golden and crisp, blending rich Bolognese sauce, white sauce, and cheese to perfectly showcase a delightful contrast of crunch and richness. In addition to the traditional meat sauce version, a vegetarian lasagna is also offered, featuring seasonal vegetables to cater to diverse diners’ preferences.

Another highlighted dish is the Italian-style fried veal, which is perfect for sharing with friends or family. The veal, carefully selected by the chef, is slow-fried to a golden crisp, with a crunchy yet non-greasy exterior and tender, juicy meat. It’s complemented by fresh rosemary and lemon juice, creating a rich and layered flavor experience.

The dessert after the meal is the classic Italian cheesecake, and Cantina has specially launched a brand new citrus-flavored version.
